BYD surpasses 2024 delivery target with record November sales

BYD, China's leading electric vehicle maker, has exceeded its 2024 delivery goal after a record sales month in November. The company sold 506,804 new energy vehicles, surpassing its previous record and pushing total sales for the year to over 3.7 million. In November, BYD sold 504,003 passenger vehicles, including 305,938 plug-in hybrids and 198,065 all-electric vehicles. While electric vehicle sales rose 16% year-over-year, plug-in hybrid sales saw a slight decline from the previous month. BYD's success comes as it continues to expand its vehicle lineup, including affordable models like the Seagull. The company is also ramping up production to meet growing demand, positioning itself as a strong competitor in the global auto market.
