CAAP allocates P12.4 billion for airport modernization in the Philippines

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has allocated P12.4 billion for airport modernization in 2025. This includes P10.6 billion for civil works and P1.8 billion for upgrading equipment and systems. CAAP aims to enhance airports in Cauayan, Dipolog, and Pagadian to accommodate increased flight demand. The Department of Transportation is also advancing projects at various airports across the country. Upcoming projects include the New Dumaguete Airport and expansions at Laguindingan and Bohol-Panglao airports. These expansions will significantly increase passenger capacity at these facilities.
