Calcutta High Court extends Bhadra's bail until April

The Calcutta High Court has extended Sujay Krishna Bhadra's conditional bail until the end of April. Bhadra is involved in a case related to school appointments. On Monday, a bench of Justices Arijit Banerjee and Apurba Sinha Ray made this decision due to Bhadra's health issues. Bhadra's lawyer, Sabyasachi Chatterjee, presented health reports to the court. The bench approved Bhadra's transfer to a private hospital in Kolkata for a medical check-up on Tuesday. Chatterjee also raised concerns about central forces stationed at Bhadra's home. He said they were using Bhadra's personal bathroom and running the air conditioner non-stop. The court ordered the forces to stay at the gate and use the restrooms on the ground floor instead. A hearing is scheduled for April 22.
