Nikki Cheng Saelee-McCain, a missing California mother, has been ruled a homicide victim, according to police. She was last heard from on May 18, 2024, shortly after texting family about plans to divorce her husband, Tyler McCain. The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office upgraded her case from a missing person report to a homicide investigation. Multiple search warrants have been executed, and several persons of interest have been identified, though no charges have been filed. Tyler McCain, previously charged with domestic violence against Saelee-McCain, has not been named a suspect in her disappearance. He recently spoke publicly, expressing regret over the situation. A reward of up to $30,000 is being offered for information on her whereabouts.
