Call of Duty launches Squid Game crossover event with new game modes and rewards

Activision has launched a crossover event between Call of Duty and Squid Game, running from January 3 to January 24, 2025. Players can engage in new game modes inspired by the show, featuring shooting elements alongside traditional gameplay. New modes include "Red Light, Green Light," where players can eliminate others during the "Green Light" phase, and "Pentathlon," which introduces team-based challenges. Additional modes incorporate zombies and unique scorestreaks related to Squid Game. A Squid Game event pass is available, offering both free and premium rewards. Players can also purchase themed Operator bundles. The collaboration includes limited-edition Xbox controllers and a new mobile game from Netflix.
