Cameroonian man arrested for assaulting Gurugram residents

A 34-year-old man from Cameroon has been arrested in Gurugram for allegedly entering a housing society naked and assaulting residents and security guards. The police received a complaint about a disturbance in Pyramid Heights Society around 11:45 PM on Monday night. When police arrived, they found Thomas Alex fighting with others. Witnesses reported that he was naked and misbehaved with a security guard before entering a resident's flat. He appeared to be intoxicated and had visible injuries on his body. Residents tried to subdue him, but he continued to shout insults and threats. Police took him into custody after being informed about the situation. Thomas Alex is currently living in a different tower of the same society. Investigators found that he had arrived in India in November 2024 on a medical visa. More questioning is ongoing.
