Canelo Alvarez meets Mexico's president and promotes boxing initiative

Canelo Alvarez visited Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum at the National Palace, presenting her with the 'gloves of peace' and a title as 'champion of women, champion of peace' from the World Boxing Council. During the visit, they announced plans for the world's largest boxing class on April 6, to be held in public squares across Mexico. Canelo expressed support for the initiative, highlighting boxing's role in helping youth combat addiction. Canelo also reiterated his desire to fight in Mexico again, following his recent match in Guadalajara. He expressed happiness at the prospect, recalling the significance of fighting in his home country.
