Capcom has released a free update for the Resident Evil 4 remake, adding support for the new PlayStation 5 Pro. This update allows the game to run smoothly at 4K 60fps with enhanced visual effects. Users report that the PS5 Pro version performs better than the standard PS5, achieving a locked 60fps at 4K resolution with ray tracing and hair effects enabled. In high framerate mode, the game can reach between 95fps and 120fps. The Resident Evil 4 remake, launched in March 2023, has sold over eight million copies. The new update joins more than 50 games that support the PS5 Pro at its launch.
