Car crash in San Jose leaves one critically injured

A serious car crash in San Jose early Saturday morning left one person with life-threatening injuries. The accident involved two vehicles and happened around 2:21 a.m. near McKee Road and North Jackson Avenue, close to Interstate 680. Several other people were also taken to hospitals for evaluation after the collision. Police said the situation is still developing, and more information may be released later. As a result of the crash, significant road closures were put in place. North Jackson Avenue is closed from Mather Drive to Rinehart Drive in both directions. Additionally, eastbound McKee Road is closed from Jackson Avenue to Ludlow Way. Authorities have not indicated when the roads will reopen. Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid the area.
