Car manufacturers offer March discounts before April price hikes

Several car manufacturers in India are offering special discounts this March before planned price increases in April. Major companies like Mahindra, Honda, Citroen, and Hyundai are providing promotions on a range of models. These discounts come as manufacturers face rising costs, leading to price hikes of 3 to 5 percent next month. Honda is offering discounts of up to ₹ 90,000 on popular models such as the City and Amaze. Buyers can also benefit from cash incentives, exchange bonuses, and an extended warranty of up to 7 years. Additionally, customers with a scrappage certificate can receive extra discounts. Hyundai's discounts reach up to ₹ 53,000 on models including the i20 and Venue. These offers include cash discounts and exchange bonuses. The Grand i10 NIOS has the highest discount available at ₹ 53,000, while the i20 has a ₹ 50,000 discount. Citroen is presenting significant discounts of up to ₹ 1.75 lakh across its vehicle lineup until the end of March. The Citroen eC3 and C3 have discounts of up to ₹ 80,000 and ₹ 1 lakh, respectively. The Citroen C5 Aircross features the largest available discount of ₹ 1.75 lakh. Mahindra has launched substantial discounts on nine models, including the Thar and Scorpio N. Offers can go as high as ₹ 1.25 lakh for the Thar and ₹ 90,000 for various Scorpio models. Discounts apply to both 2024 and 2025 models, making it a good time for buyers looking to purchase Mahindra vehicles. These promotions end on March 31, providing an ideal opportunity for car buyers to save money before the price increases take effect next month.
