Car rally in Delhi promotes road safety awareness
The Constitution Club of India held its annual car rally on Sunday, focusing on road safety. The rally was kicked off by ministers Kiren Rijiju and K Rammohan Naidu. They paid tribute to leaders who lost their lives in road accidents, such as former president Giani Zail Singh. BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, who started the rally in 2010, stressed the importance of road safety. Among those present were former BJP MP Anurag Thakur and JDU leader KC Tyagi. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta made comments about communal harmony, stating that there is "Ram in Ramzan and Ali in Diwali." Her remarks received both praise and criticism on social media. During the holy month of Ramzan, many politicians are attending iftars and engaging with the public. BJP’s Jagdambika Pal, an experienced politician, made headlines during a recent discussion. He was in charge while Minister Kiren Rijiju spoke against a comment made by Karnataka's deputy chief minister about Muslim quotas. When Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi attempted to interject, Pal reminded him that he was not the Leader of the Opposition. This subtle reminder highlighted Rahul Gandhi's absence from the discussion.
