Carin León's song tops Latin and Regional Mexican charts

Carin León has achieved a double win on Latin music charts with his song "El Amor De Mi Herida." The track has reached No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart and has also spent a second week at the top of the Regional Mexican Airplay chart. The song moved up from No. 2 to No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart dated March 22. Despite a small 3% drop in audience impressions in the U.S., it attracted 8 million listeners on Latin stations during the week of March 7-13, according to Luminate. This marks León's third No. 1 song in his career, out of 19 appearances on the chart. León is a well-known artist from Sonora, Hermosillo. His previous hits include "Según Quién" featuring Maluma. He first reached No. 1 with "Llorar y Llorar" in 2022. Over the last five years, he has had a successful career, with nine songs making it into the top 10. His song "El Amor De Mi Herida" is featured on his fifth studio album, "Palabra De To’s." This album helped him achieve a third No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart last December. The song was written by Alejandra Zeguer, Johan Sotelo, and Omar Robles.
