Carriacou devastated by Hurricane Beryl, UN coordinating relief efforts

Carriacou in Grenada is devastated by Hurricane Beryl, affecting 100% of the population. The strongest June hurricane in the Atlantic, it reached Category 4-5 with winds up to 240 km/h. International aid is dispatched, with the UN coordinating efforts. Over 650,000 people, including 150,000 children, were in its path. The UNICEF and WFP are providing support. The hurricane season is expected to be intense.
