Cash and gold stolen from Shaikpet home

Burglars stole gold and cash from a home in Diamond Hills Colony, Shaikpet late Monday night. The family was away attending iftar when the crime occurred. According to Detective Inspector N. Jayaram, the thieves took around 30 tolas of gold and ₹40 lakh in cash. The family returned home around 2 a.m. to find their door damaged and belongings missing. The police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. They are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects.
