Cat Island is located in Lake Biwa, Japan

In Assassin's Creed Shadows, Cat Island is a special place for cat lovers. It is officially called Okishima and is located in Lake Biwa, northeast on the game map. This area is known for its many cats. Players can adopt these pets during the game. To reach Cat Island, players need to explore the Omi region, which has an enemy level rating of 23. This means that players should be around level 20 to safely visit. The closest areas are Hachiman to the south and Azuchi to the east. Players can fast travel to two eagle points but need to cross the lake by swimming or using a raft. Once on Cat Island, players will see many cats roaming around. There are two types available for adoption: the Calico Bobtail and the Tabby Bobtail. Players can pet these cats and add them to their Hideout. Additionally, Cat Island is home to a mission called “The Wheel Turns.” In this mission, players can earn a unique dog named Fuji-Maru instead of a cat.
