Caulfield Grammar reports student approached by stranger driver
A student at Caulfield Grammar in Melbourne reported being approached by a stranger in a black vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. The school has notified the police about the incident. Deputy Principal Meg Adem shared details with the school community. The encounter took place at a bus stop on Albion Road and High Street in Glen Iris. The student was on their way to school and did not engage with the driver. The school has provided support to the student and their family. Adem emphasized the importance of discussing how to handle unexpected situations with children. Prue-Ellen Petsinis, the head of the school's Malvern campus, informed parents that teachers talked to students about being aware when traveling alone. She thanked the parent who reported the incident. Principal Ashleigh Martin praised how the student managed the situation and the response from their parents and police. Victoria Police have been informed but did not provide further comments.
