Celtic concert celebrates St. Patrick’s Day at Zachary library

Amanda "Madam Dulcimer" Roberts and Elizabeth "Lady Chops" Vidos performed a Celtic concert at the Zachary library on Saturday. The event was held to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Despite the rainy weather, many community members attended the concert. Families enjoyed the lively music, which featured songs from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Children, including five-year-old McCartney Roubique and her brother Harrison, two, were among the audience. They joined in singing along to popular tunes like "Cockles and Mussels." During the concert, Roberts played the hammered dulcimer, while Vidos entertained the crowd with her drumming. The performance brought a festive spirit to the library, making it a memorable celebration for attendees. Merchandise from Lady Chops was also available for purchase during the event, adding to the festive atmosphere.
