Central University hosts seminar on Indigenous Administrative Practices
The Central University of Karnataka is hosting a two-day national seminar starting today. The event, organized by the Department of Public Administration, focuses on Indigenous Administrative Practices in India. It aims to explore future directions for academics and practitioners. The seminar will begin with an inauguration at 10 a.m. The university's Vice-Chancellor, Battu Sathyanarayana, will lead the opening ceremony at the main campus in Aland taluk, Kalaburagi district. R.R. Biradar, the university's Registrar, will be the chief guest. Rajaram Tolpadi, a former Political Science professor at Mangalore University, will deliver the keynote address. Meera Alur, Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes in Bengaluru, is also expected to attend. During the seminar, 19 research scholars from various universities, including Banaras Hindu University and Mysuru University, will present their research papers in several sessions over the two days.
