There have been reports that Clean Slate's partnership with Netflix has ended. This change is thought to have contributed to the film's delay. It has been suggested that the breakdown in their partnership was due to creative disagreements and budget issues. This situation may also affect other projects from Clean Slate, including the film Afghaani Snow. Currently, the production company may consider other distribution options for Chakda Xpress.
