Channel 4, a British television network, has announced its first digital original drama titled "Beth." This three-part science fiction thriller is written and directed by Uzo Oleh. The series stars Nicholas Pinnock and Abbey Lee, both known for their roles in popular films and shows. In "Beth," Pinnock and Lee play Joe and Molly, a married couple who seem to have it all except one thing—a child. After years of trying, Molly finally becomes pregnant. However, when their baby Imogen is born, she looks nothing like Joe, leading the couple into turmoil as Joe uncovers a shocking truth. Oleh expressed excitement about bringing "Beth" to life and praised the performances of Pinnock and Lee. Pinnock called the story intriguing, while Lee was captivated by its themes of love and heartache. The series will be available on Channel 4’s YouTube and streaming platforms. Each episode will be about 15 minutes long, with a 45-minute linear broadcast planned. The project has been supported by several key figures at Channel 4, highlighting its innovative nature aimed at attracting talent in the digital space.
