Chapter 6 Season 2 update frustrates some Fortnite players

Fortnite Chapter 6 has just begun and it looks like it might last a long time. The latest update, called Lawless, launched on February 21, 2025. Players are now exploring new locations like Crime City, Outlaw Oasis, Shiny Shafts, and Lonewolf Lair. This new chapter may last for six seasons, which is two more than the previous chapter. Some players are excited about this longer playtime while others are not. Many fans feel divided about the gameplay and the new meta. It seems players will have to deal with more campers and those using new weapons, like the Kneecapper. Epic Games introduced a new currency called Dill Bits, used for trading Black Market weapons. While some players are thrilled with the changes, others miss the variety of previous chapters. Chapter 3 and 4 had many different areas to explore, unlike the current setup. Despite mixed feelings, the Lawless season has fresh elements to keep players engaged, like the Outlaw Keycards that encourage more action in the game.
