ChatGPT excels in recommending new Android apps

Copilot included some details about app sources, while Gemini gave a location-specific recommendation. Next, the author looked for note-taking apps that supported PDF imports and handwriting. Again, ChatGPT excelled, listing several relevant apps with specific features. Gemini also sorted apps by platform, proving to be useful. Copilot's suggestions were less focused and did not include platform details. In a third test for gaming recommendations, the results were disappointing. ChatGPT gave a long list, but many entries weren’t available on the Play Store. Copilot also failed to meet the requirements, while Gemini misused a recommendation by suggesting the actual Danganronpa title instead of similar games. Overall, the experiments showed that understanding how to craft prompts is important. Clear and specific requests lead to better results. While AI can help discover apps, it may not always capture the newest releases.
