Chennai-born Caitlin Sandra Neil wins Miss India USA 2024 in New Jersey

Caitlin Sandra Neil, a 19-year-old Indian American from Chennai, has been named Miss India USA 2024 at a pageant in New Jersey. She is a student at the University of California, Davis, and aims to promote women's empowerment and literacy. Sanskriti Sharma from Illinois was crowned Mrs. India USA, while Arshita Kathpalia from Washington won Miss Teen India USA. The event featured 47 contestants from 25 states across three categories. Rijul Maini and Sneha Nambiar, the previous titleholders, crowned the new winners. Nirali Desia and Manini Patel were the first and second runners-up in the Miss India USA category, respectively.
