Chennai man arrested for multiple burglary cases

A 22-year-old man named Vignesh has been arrested for a series of burglaries in Chennai. He is accused of stealing valuable items from the home of an air cargo employee on March 15. The police recovered 35 sovereigns of gold jewelry from him. Vignesh had buried the stolen items near the Tambaram railway station. Authorities tracked him down by reviewing footage from around 200 CCTV cameras near the crime scene. The burglary was reported by Venkata Subramanian, a resident of Gill Nagar in Choolaimedu, after he returned home on March 17. Following his complaint, police opened a case and took Vignesh into custody. He has been remanded in judicial custody.
