Chennai water and sewer tax payment deadline March 31

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has announced a deadline for water and sewer tax payments. Residents need to pay their dues by March 31. Consumers can make payments in different ways. They can pay by cheque or demand draft at collection centres located in all area offices and at the headquarters in Chintadripet. Online payments are also available. Residents can pay using debit or credit cards, as well as net banking, through the official website. Additionally, payments can be made using UPI and QR codes at collection centres. Metrowater encourages residents to pay before the deadline to avoid incurring any surcharge.
