Chennai water supply disrupted March 21-26 for maintenance

Chennai will have temporary water cuts from March 21 to March 26. This is due to maintenance work at the Nemeli desalination plant. The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) announced that water supply will be disrupted in phases. Some areas will experience cuts during the first three days, while others will be affected in the last three days. Affected areas include Adyar, Perungudi, and Sholinganallur. Residents are advised to store enough water before the cuts begin. Authorities are encouraging everyone to use water wisely during this period. The CMWSSB has promised that water supply will return to normal once the maintenance is finished.
