Cheyenne Mountain's Anna Blamires named 5A-4A Volleyball Peak Performer of the Year

Anna Blamires, a senior at Cheyenne Mountain, has been named the 5A-4A Volleyball Peak Performer of the Year. She led her team to a 20-9 record and achieved 389 kills, including her milestone 1,000th career kill. Blamires will join Brigham Young University’s volleyball team in January. She expressed gratitude for her strong support system, including family, coaches, and teammates, who helped her reach this point in her career. Despite a close semifinal loss in the state tournament, Blamires reflected positively on her high school experience. She emphasized the importance of teamwork and the support she received throughout her journey.
