Children’s Literary Festival in Krishnankoil on March 20-21

A Children's Literary Festival will take place on March 20 and 21 at Linga Global School in Krishnankoil. The event is organized by the Virudhunagar district administration. It will include participation from over 300 students, teachers, and parents of children in Classes 4 to 7. This includes attendees from government, aided, and private schools. Virudhunagar Collector, V.P. Jeyaseelan, announced that the festival will feature various activities. These include storytelling, puppetry, and psychological training. Families can also enjoy screenings of children's movies and a magic show. In addition, there will be group discussions on various topics to raise awareness for both parents and children. To promote reading, there will be reading sessions, cheerful classroom activities, and lessons in literature. A quiz program for children will be conducted by Sankara Saravanan, the Joint Director of the Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation. Additionally, writer and storyteller Bava Chelladurai will speak at the opening session. Madurai MP, Su. Venkatesan, will address attendees during the closing session. The event is open to children and parents from the Virudhunagar district.
