China warns against trade war following Trump tariff threat

The Chinese spokesperson emphasized that China has made progress in fighting drug trafficking, including notifying the U.S. about law enforcement efforts. They rejected the notion that China allows fentanyl precursors to enter the U.S. Recent cooperation between the U.S. and China has focused on reducing the flow of chemicals used to produce fentanyl. China has committed to tightening controls on these chemicals following agreements made last year between President Biden and President Xi Jinping.
