China's Vidu partners with US to produce anime series
A Chinese start-up called ShengShu Technology has made a deal with a U.S. animation studio to create an AI-generated anime series. This series will have 50 episodes and is set to be released in 2025 on major social media platforms. The animation studio, Aura Productions, was founded by actress Luo Yan and director D.T. Carpenter. Together, they plan to combine Asian anime styles with Hollywood creativity to appeal to young audiences in North America. A trailer for the new series will be launched worldwide soon. The AI model used for this project, named Vidu, is known for quickly generating high-quality videos. This technology is gaining popularity and opens doors for new content creation. Vidu was previously used for a trailer of the upcoming film "Venom: The Last Dance." ShengShu is also collaborating with AMD, a U.S. AI chipmaker, to enhance AI applications for personal computers. This partnership reflects the growing interest in AI technology and its applications in various industries.
