Chloë Blackburn, devoted diplomat's wife and sculptor, dies at 93
Chloë Blackburn, who passed away at 93, was known for her kindness and support to many. Born in London, she had a childhood filled with travel and adventure, later studying history at Oxford after caring for her ill mother.
Chloë married a diplomat in 1954, becoming a dedicated diplomat's wife and raising three children during their foreign postings. After their marriage ended in 1976, she became a sculptor, creating bronze figures and continuing her art until her later years.
In 1985, she married lawyer Bill Blackburn, who passed away in 2002. Chloë is survived by her children, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her brother Paul.
