Chris Bell enters transfer portal from Syracuse

Syracuse junior Chris Bell has decided to enter the NCAA transfer portal. He announced his decision on social media, and his father confirmed it. Bell is a 6-foot-7 forward who averaged 9.3 points this season. He struggled with his 3-point shooting early on, making only 11 out of 47 attempts in his first 11 games. However, he improved significantly in the latter part of the season, hitting 36 of 86 3-pointers in his last 22 games. Even though Bell didn’t qualify to lead the Atlantic Coast Conference in 3-point shooting, he still showed his talent. He made 1.8 3-pointers per game. In total, Bell has hit 170 3-pointers during his three years at Syracuse, ranking 15th on the school's all-time list. Last season, Bell had an impressive average of 12 points per game with a 42% shooting rate from beyond the arc. Now, as he enters the transfer portal, he will explore opportunities to continue his college basketball career elsewhere.
