Christ University wins national moot court competition in Kochi

The C.P. Sudhakara Prasad Memorial National Moot Court competition took place in Kochi on March 23, 2025. Student teams from Christ (Deemed to be University) in Bangalore excelled in the event, winning both the first and second positions. The university also received the award for the best argument note. Aditya Singh from Christ University was named the best speaker in the final round. Manya S. Kurup from Mar Gregorios College of Law in Thiruvananthapuram won the best speaker award in the preliminary rounds. Winners received cash prizes and trophies for their achievements. V.M. Syam Kumar, a judge from the Kerala High Court, was the chief guest at the event's closing ceremony. The competition was organized by the Ernakulam district committee of the All India Lawyers Union, in partnership with the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) in Kochi. Several officials and leaders from the legal community were present at the ceremony.
