She revealed that she has experienced "sudden and dramatic hair loss," losing about 99 percent of her hair over recent months. Chiu is currently undergoing various tests, including labs and ultrasounds, to determine the cause of her hair loss. In the video she shared, she can be seen trying on a long, dark brown wig. Her hairstylist, Maranda Widlund, gave her tips on how to style the wig. Christine was part of "Bling Empire" for all three seasons and often showcased her impressive wig collection on the show. She and her husband, Gabriel Chiu, have a son named Gabriel Chiu III, who was born in 2018. On the show, Christine also opened up about her past struggles with infertility. She underwent six rounds of IVF before having her son. Christine later discovered that male infertility was a challenge for her family and shared how good it felt to talk about her experiences, saying it was relieving to share her story with others.
