Christine Tremarco suggests "Adolescence" is likely standalone
The Netflix thriller series "Adolescence" has received high praise, achieving a 99 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The show follows a 13-year-old boy accused of murder and explores its impact on his life and family. Actress Christine Tremarco, who plays Manda Miller, recently discussed the success of the show and speculation about a possible second season. She appeared on ITV’s Lorraine on March 24 to talk about her role and the show's popularity since its March 13 premiere. When asked about a sequel, Christine said that many viewers are curious about what happens next. However, she believes the story ends effectively with the first season, stating, “I think this is a one-off." Christine also shared her long-standing friendship with co-star Stephen Graham. They grew up together, which she believes helped shape their on-screen relationship as Manda and Eddie. She praised the show's creator, Jack Thorne, and noted that both she and Stephen have deep roots in their hometowns.
