Christopher Meloni to receive Canopy Award in New York

The award ceremony is set for June 17 at The Halyard in Greenport, New York. The festival will take place over the weekend of June 17-18. The Canopy Award honors someone in the New York television community who exemplifies creativity and collaboration. During the ceremony, Meloni will participate in a discussion, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. Noah Doyle, founder of the North Fork TV Festival, praised Meloni for his exceptional talent and contributions to the industry. He said Meloni represents the spirit of the Canopy Award by promoting diverse storytelling with integrity and passion. This year marks the festival’s 10th anniversary. The event will include exclusive screenings, panels, and networking opportunities. A new feature for 2025 is the Actor’s Studio, offering masterclass sessions for performers.
