Churu woman jumps into tank; two children drown

A tragic incident occurred in Ratnagar, Churu district, on Sunday. A 28-year-old woman named Nargis jumped into a water tank with her two young children in a desperate act. Her three-year-old daughter, Alishpa, and one-year-old son, Ibrar, drowned in the tank. Nargis was rescued by her family members who quickly reached the scene after she jumped in. They were able to pull her out along with the children and rushed all three to a government hospital. Doctors there declared Alishpa and Ibrar dead upon arrival. Nargis is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital. Police have confirmed that a case has been registered and are now investigating the situation. Nargis's brother-in-law, Mohammad Khalid, shared details of the incident with the authorities.
