Cincinnati families can enjoy budget-friendly spring break activities
Many schools in the Tri-State area will have spring break next week. Families who are not traveling can still enjoy fun activities in Cincinnati without spending a lot. Local mom and content creator Nedra McDaniel shares great budget-friendly ideas for a staycation. She believes adventures should be accessible for everyone. One of her top indoor spots is the Cincinnati Museum Center, but it's closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Residents with a Cincinnati library card can get free admission to several local attractions. These include Gorman Heritage Farm, the Taft Museum of Art, and the Cincinnati Art Museum, among others. For movie fans, theaters like AMC, Regal, and Cinemark offer discounted movie tickets on Tuesdays. Many also have lower prices for matinee shows, which start before 4 PM. Families can save money with the POGO Pass, which costs $99. This pass gives access to various attractions, including the Cincinnati Zoo and Reds games. For active fun, Recreations Outlet in Milford has playground equipment and trampolines. It costs just $4 per child on Tuesdays through Thursdays. McDaniel encourages creativity when planning a staycation. Exploring new parks or biking along trails can make for memorable family outings. The goal is to enjoy time together while being mindful of the budget.
