Clashes in Islamabad leave 10 dead as PTI cancels protest
Clashes between security forces and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters in Islamabad have resulted in 10 deaths and 71 injuries, according to hospital reports. The deceased include six civilians and four security personnel. Security sources have denied claims of protester deaths caused by law enforcement shelling, labeling them as false propaganda. They stated that no firearms were used during the police operation. PTI has canceled its ongoing protest in Islamabad following the clashes. City officials are clearing roads and removing containers from sensitive areas, restoring normalcy after the protests.
