Clean Power Alliance enhances Southern California's energy sustainability
Clean Power Alliance has launched two new solar and battery storage projects in Southern California, adding 600 MW of solar power and 390 MW of storage. These projects will supply energy to about 270,000 homes and create around 950 construction jobs. The Rexford and Desert Quartzite projects are now operational, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Together, they are expected to avoid 880 million pounds of emissions annually, equivalent to removing 93,000 gas-powered vehicles from the roads. Clean Power Alliance plans to further enhance local energy resilience with additional small-scale projects later this year. These initiatives aim to support the region's energy needs while promoting sustainability and economic growth.
