Cleon Peterson launches 'The Divide Collection' in California
Artist Cleon Peterson has teamed up with Modernica to launch a new collection called The Divide Collection. This collaboration comes after Peterson lost his home in the Eaton Fire in Altadena, California, earlier this year. The collection aims to help him and his family during this difficult time. The Divide Collection features nine unique Upholstered Side Shells on Eiffel Tower Bases and one Upholstered Arm Shell Rocker. Each piece is hand-signed by Peterson. The designs are characterized by bold black-and-white contrasts. Peterson describes this contrast as a representation of the struggle between despair and resilience. Peterson believes that even in the face of destruction, there is a chance for transformation. All profits from the sale of The Divide Collection will go towards helping Peterson and his family rebuild their lives. The collection will be available starting March 20 on Modernica's official website.
