Clerk arrested for accepting bribe in Fatehabad court

A clerk from the secondary education department was arrested for accepting a bribe in Fatehabad. The arrest took place on Monday by the Hisar team of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). The clerk, named Kuldeep, was caught red-handed while taking Rs 20,000 from a complainant. The complainant had filed a case in the court related to a job scheme. During the hearing, Kuldeep assured him there would be no problems from the education department if he paid the bribe. The ACB registered a case against Kuldeep under the Prevention of Corruption Act. He was arrested on the court premises while accepting cash from the complainant. The operation was conducted with witnesses present, following legal procedures.
