Cody's Eats & Sweets bakery opening in Nazareth summer 2025

A new bakery called Cody's Eats & Sweets is set to open this summer in Nazareth, Northampton County. Owner Cody Dally plans to launch the bakery at 52 S. Main St. in mid-to-late June. The shop will feature its signature tomato pies, cookies, cakes, and sandwiches, as well as special three-course dinner events on weekends. Cody Dally has a background in culinary arts and started selling his baked goods at local markets, like the Nazareth Farmers Market, in 2022. He left his job at Wegmans Food Markets in January 2024 to focus on his bakery. He hopes to create a space where customers can easily find his products outside of farmers markets. The bakery will take over a space previously occupied by two restaurants, Mersin on Main and Indigo 52. Although Dally has not decided on operating hours yet, he is excited to build a stronger presence in the community. In related news, other retail updates in the area include the opening of a Cuban cafe by Chef Jose Garces in Allentown and the upcoming launch of a pickleball facility in Wind Gap. Additionally, some businesses like The Last Chance Ranch Thrift Store and Lomax Carpet & Tile Mart are closing or relocating due to rising costs. Various community events and contests are also underway, with Bethlehem and the Easton Public Market nominated for national recognition.
