Coimbatore Corporation to supply treated water for industries

Coimbatore Corporation has announced a new plan to supply treated water for construction and industrial activities. This water will not be for drinking but will be used in various non-potable applications. The Corporation will set up overhead tanks at specific locations. From these tanks, water lorries can collect and distribute the water at any time. The supply will be provided at rates approved by the government. To ensure safety, the water will go through three levels of treatment. This initiative aims to create a structured system for distributing water through designated filling points. Water lorry and tractor owners who want to participate must register with the Corporation. They need to provide details about their vehicles and their daily water needs. This information can be sent by email or via WhatsApp. The Corporation encourages all stakeholders to register quickly. This will help in the smooth rollout of the water supply initiative.
