Colerain Township driver charged with student sexual misconduct
A man is in jail after being accused of inappropriately touching an elementary school student in Colerain Township, Ohio. The police received a report from Struble Elementary after a student told their parents about the incident. The driver, identified as 41-year-old Steffen Yates, was working with a contracted transportation service. School officials contacted the police on Tuesday after learning about the allegation. Police then began an investigation, which included reviewing surveillance footage. Yates has been charged with two counts of gross sexual imposition, which are third-degree felonies. Both the school district and the transportation agency are cooperating with the investigation. The investigation is still ongoing.
