The 41st annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Colorado Springs will take place on Saturday at noon along Tejon Street. The event celebrates Irish heritage and has become a community tradition since its founding in 1984. This year, Kevin Shaughnessy, president and CEO of Phil Long Dealerships, will serve as the grand marshal. The parade will feature nearly 100 entries, including school groups, bands, and a new entry honoring the San Patricio Battalion. Before the parade, a 5K and a kids' Leprechaun Fun Run will occur. Attendees are encouraged to wear green and use sunscreen due to the Colorado sun.
