Colorado Springs to see highs in upper 50s Friday
Colorado Springs will see mild temperatures this Friday, starting in the 30s and 40s. Meteorologist Lauren Brand from KOAA says the city will warm up to the upper 50s and 60s as the day goes on. A fire weather watch is in effect for the southern I-25 corridor due to increased fire danger. This watch will continue into Saturday evening. The forecast suggests a high of 55 degrees today, with a cold front expected to arrive on Sunday, slightly lowering temperatures. Saturday's weather will be mostly sunny, with a high reaching about 64 degrees. Breezy conditions are expected, with wind speeds increasing in the afternoon. On Sunday, temperatures will be around 58 degrees, remaining mostly sunny. Looking ahead, Monday is forecasted to be mostly sunny with a high near 69 degrees. Tuesday is anticipated to be a great day for outdoor activities, with highs in the upper 60s. Each day promises beautiful weather for getting outside.
