Colts targeting Travis Hunter in 2025 NFL Draft

The Indianapolis Colts are making big changes to their team this offseason. They have added safety Cam Bynum and cornerback Charvarius Ward to improve their defense. Expert Nic Bodiford from Pro Football Focus believes that Colorado star Travis Hunter would be a great match for the Colts and the Seattle Seahawks. Hunter is known for his strong skills on both offense and defense. However, it might be difficult for the Colts to acquire him. To get Hunter, they would need to trade up in the draft, which would require giving up a lot of valuable resources. General Manager Chris Ballard has been more aggressive this offseason, but such a major trade would be a first for him. Hunter had an impressive season in 2024, playing both wide receiver and cornerback. He caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards and scored 15 touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded four interceptions and had a strong defensive rating. If the Colts were able to bring him on board, it could greatly enhance their roster and make them serious contenders for the upcoming season.
