Community Fibre offers discounted 3Gbps broadband in London
A new broadband provider is offering high-speed internet at a low price, and it’s attracting attention in London. Community Fibre is providing a special deal for its 3Gbps fibre broadband. This service costs just £39 per month, a significant drop from the usual £56. Community Fibre claims this is “London's fastest broadband speed.” However, the catch is that it only serves customers in London. Areas like Camden, Hackney, and Wandsworth can take advantage of this offer. According to the provider, customers could download a large video game quickly—about 50 GB in just over two minutes. This deal comes with no setup fee. The £39 price is fixed until March 2026, after which it will increase by £2 each year. But customers should note that they will need to commit for 24 months. The offer ends on April 1, 2025, so interested customers should act fast. Major broadband providers like BT, Sky, and Virgin Media do not currently match these speeds. They generally offer speeds up to 1Gbps, significantly lower than Community Fibre's offer. Although these larger companies cover more areas, those in London may find this smaller provider worth considering for faster internet. Community Fibre runs its own fibre optic network, allowing it to provide unique high-speed services.
