Concord game fetches high prices on eBay
Concord, a PS5 multiplayer shooter that failed after just two weeks, is now being sold for high prices on eBay. Once available for around £40, its physical editions are now being listed for over £300. Many sellers seem to be taking advantage of the game’s short, troubled history. Launched in August 2024, Concord was quickly pulled by Sony due to poor sales and low player numbers. Soon after, it was announced that the game would not return, and its developer, Firewalk Studio, would be shut down. With no digital version available and online features disabled, only the physical copies remain. Collectors are now buying these physical copies, but they cannot play the game. It serves mainly as a collectible item. Additionally, a limited edition DualSense controller tied to Concord is also being sold at high prices, sometimes over £300. Unlike the game, this controller is functional and may be seen as a better investment. People are left wondering if owning a physical copy of Concord might become valuable in the future given its unique story.
